We live in the Colony and have been going to Toyota Plano due it proximity. We took my daughters car there Wednesday for a battery check. They told us she needed a new one but it was on backorder with no ETA and could be weeks. I spent hours over 2 days trying to get a customer care rep to help us. The car was only 272 miles out of warranty. I told them I am a single mom and I work full time - 3 days out of the home. My daughter plays hockey 6 days a week in valley ranch and works and goes to school. We can not be down a car. They wouldn’t help with finding the battery quicker or give us a loaner car since the car was out of warranty. It was a horrible experience. Surely I thought one Of the 5 people I spoke with would have checked local Toyota’s for the part. Just for the heck of it I called Prosper never expecting that you would have it in stock. Amazingly you did. I was told it would $150 for battery and $60 for labor. I was fine with it. At this point I just wanted the car fixed and returned. We picked the car up from Plano, told them we would not be returning and headed straight for Prosper. Kenneth was very kind to my daughter when she dropped it off. We said we came from Plano but never told him any history of my conversations with them. I got a call a few hours later that it was ready. I told Kenneth we couldn’t get there that day and would come first thing today. I showed up and met Kenneth. He was extremely polite. He showed me my paperwork with NC and told me because it was so close he covered it under warranty. I almost cried. I was so grateful to work with someone so kind and understanding. I told him so. Our experience in Prosper was wonderful and will now be our permanent service center for her car. I told Kenneth I would be writing a letter about my experience with Plano and that I would also speak highly on his behalf. His kindness went farther than he will ever know. Thank you!!! Thank you!! after the past few days - this was such a lift to me. Have a wonderful day. ????????????
