I understand that diagnostic fees exist, but when I called and said my hatch is mechanically busted, all I wanted to know was how much it would cost to fix. I was never told there would be a $179 fee just to look at it. I also mentioned the front end was knocking and wanted pricing. Again, didn’t expect $90. I spent $300 just to confirm what I already knew. When I scheduled this car, I shared I was am getting ready to close on a mortgage and timing was tough. I needed to determine whether to fix now, wait until after close, or just buy new. (And this was for 2 vehicles) I decided I was going to buy end of February, but after getting billed $300 for no work done, it just felt line a punch In the gut. My other car is scheduled on 02/01. We are canceling that follow up service and will look at buying at another dealer or leaving ford altogether. Side note: I mentioned my surprise to the cashier, she was very dismissive and responded by telling me where the exit was and I could talk to the quick lane team if I wanted to. I just said I was surprised at the pricing. She ignored my comment. I wasn’t trying to start anything, but after that response, I knew I was done.

I dropped my truck off on Tuesday the 19th at 7am to get a remote starter put on my truck. I was informed at 2pm that it would be ready in an hour. I then received another phone call around 5:30 or 6pm that they needed to keep my truck as it was not ready and wouldn’t be ready until the next day. My truck was not ready until 1pm on Wednesday the 20th. This was totally unacceptable as I was inconvenienced by not having my vehicle.
