The service representative was great, and I know my car is in good hands with the Lexus service center. My only criticism is that when I picked up my car it had something sticky that I cannot get off of my windshield and my hood. It’s almost like sap. I live in Santa Cruz and commuting to and from the dealership is difficult. I would have addressed the issue before I left, but I thought it was water on my windshield until I realized it would not dry/come off.

I made an appointment and told them I needed A loaner. Get there and had to wait an hour there because they didn’t have a loaner for me. Then I got On live chat to ask how to make a complaint and they said they would have someone contact me. Never happened. So I figured I’d let it go but then I show Up at 615 to pick up my car that had a recall for airbags and a detail. No one called me or anything. When I get There my service rep Informed me that my car wasn’t up to standard and needed to be redone on the detail and asked if I could Come back tomorrow to pick it up. I informed Him I was Leaving town for a week to see my terminally ill father. After trying to figure out a plan for 20 mins he released my car and told me to check out. So I asked, I’m paying for a service I did not receive and then he said I could Pay later. To be honest the detail job was horrible and I should Not have had to deal with that at all. Someone should have called me at bare minimum. They had my car from Monday morning to Tuesday night and the job wasn’t done correctly. I do Not feel I should have to pay and do not think it’s fair to ask me to have to deal with this. Tjat is the job of the detailer, to detail. The whole experience was a nightmare and sad thing is I was Thinking of coming to this Lexus in Feb to buy my new IS.
