I called about a week ago with a Honda recall for my 2017 cr-v. The service department took my information and stated they had to order the part. They scheduled my appt and I also scheduled an oil change for the same day. They said to plan on an hour and a half. After arriving the service dept. informed me they did not have the recall part, that it was put on another cr-v the previous day. The appt took a little over 5 hours because the service dept. had to get the recall part from another dealership. I was shuttled back and forth from home. It was disappointing that this process took half a day. I felt a discounted oil change could have been the minimum or a voucher for a free oil change for a later date would have been appropriate. Surprise Honda is convenient for me to service my Honda’s. I helped my daughter-in-law buy a new Civic Hatchback there, but I’m not sure if I’ll come back.
