I brought our 2016 Pilot in for 3 problems: 1.The exterior hatchback button does not work. I was told that the system was rebooted and the button works. NOT TRUE. It wasn’t fixed. 2. The transmission made a high pitched whine and sped up when it should be slowing down. After 11 days at Hardin, half a tank of gas, a software update was used. The update fixed the shifting problem but not the high pitched whine- as it heats up it gets louder.
I felt like the entire experience was not about diagnosis/repair. The experience was about mitigating warranty and leaving the customer no clear choices.
Lastly, when I picked up the car, it was absolutely filthy. 11 days next to the freeway left the car a mess. Wondering if anyone cares anymore?
