Darin is super professional and helpful. I came in with a check tire pressure light on. It was Saturday afternoon, so I knew it would be busy. Darin took time to explain the tire issue, answer questions, and resolve the matter as quickly and easily as possible. I recently moved back to the area, and took my car to Hardin Honda earlier this month for service (where I purchased and had it serviced up until I moved) and was disappointed by service that seemed lackluster. Working with Darin reminded me why I chose Hardin Honda, for the much higher level of service and responsiveness than provided by oil change and tire shops. I hope all service advisors there can provide the quality customer service that he does. Very pleased this time out!

I would consider this a sub-par experience. When we met initially, it seemed as if we were a bother. We were asked to sign the initial paperwork without being told how much the service was projected to be. We had an 8am appointment and dropped the car off at that time. We received a text at 11 stating that we would be notified when the car was ready. We texted back immediately with questions at 11:08am. We did not receive a reply. We left a voicemail at 1:14 with a request for information. We did not hear back until 1:40. At that time, we were told that the technicians were now looking at the car. We do understand busy, but we made an appointment and the car wasn’t looked at for 5 hours. We received a follow up call at 3:11 with the technician’s results. We could not understand Cesar when he explained what was wrong with the car other than “carbon” and “fuel line”. We were told the total was $173 and we consented. We received a call that we could pick up the car and that it was done. When we arrived, we were told the paperwork was not ready and we had to wait. When the paperwork was completed, nothing was initially explained and we were asked “do you have any questions”. We expressed that we could not understand him over the phone and could he explain what they did. We had the service explained but felt that we were talked down to in a condescending manner. We were then told that the total for all of the service was $171.93. The paperwork showed that we owed $190.08. We questioned the discrepancy. We were told that the complementary oil change was at no charge, but still showed as money due to Honda. We requested that this be changed and we’re met with some pushback. In the end, there were notes added to the paperwork expressing that we would only be charged $171.93 and that there we would not be sent to collections for not paying the $18.15 balance due. I would appreciate a manager giving me a call to discuss this further. At this point, we are inclined to take our business elsewhere. Josh Lorton ****-****-xxxx
