Nearly 32 hours after dropping off our vehicle, a technician still had not looked at the vehicle despite us having a regularly scheduled appointment. At approximately 12:30pm my husband was told there were still 4 vehicles ahead ours, and when i called at 3:30pm i was told there were “4 or 5” cars ahead of ours. In three hours, not only had vehicles ahead of ours not been looked at, but it appeared ADDITIONAL cars were possibly placed ahead of ours. Cesar was extremely disrespectful and repeatedly interrupted me when i called for the status of my vehicle. When I asked him why a diagnostic had not been run on our vehicle, he did not answer me. I asked if he was still on the line and his was response was, “Oh are you done? Am I allowed to talk now?” Cesar was condescending, chauvinistic, and dismissive of my concerns regarding the lack of service and over commitment of the service department.
This was the second time we had made an appointment to have our car serviced. Both times we were not told there would be any delay in looking at our car. The first time (July 1st) we had a 10:10am appointment and upon check-in we were informed our vehicle would not be looked at until Wednesday, July 5th. That was unacceptable, so we rescheduled our appointment for July 7th at 7am. When scheduling the new appointment it was never explicitly stated there would still be a delay a week later. This process has been frustrating. I do not understand the purpose of scheduling an appointment if the vehicle will not be looked at for several days. If this is your standard business practice, it should be clearly posted on the scheduling website and stated by employees when scheduling service appointments.
We will not be returning to Hardin Honda and will advise friends and family to refrain from visiting Hardin Honda.
