Hi alfrado. Just to let you know that all the screws for the filter cover were loose i mean not tightened at all and one of the screws is missing. Who ever that tech is not doing a honest good job and should not be working for Honda. Now i am not going to come back again to have him tighten the screws. I will leave them as is so to show your management what a lousy job this tech is doing. Iam not even confident now that he actually replaced the starter and what else he broke or left loose. Needless to say i am very unhappy with the service or lack of it after having paid $760. I did my homewprk before i brought the car in. Maxprice on starter was $165 dison.. i then called a mechanic in Irvine trusted one i some times go to and he quoted $332 starter price f oem and $500 total cost to replace. My worries though is that he daid he would hve to take mnafold and other stuff to get to the starte and so i called my trusted Honda dealer that i go to all the time. Alfrado said that manafold and other stuff do not need to be taken out and that they lift car and undo the axel and change starter that way an cost after discount wold be $760. I agreed and camee in next morning. I tei reminded Alfredo about my concerns again. An hour later he comes and telss me that they took manafold out an replace starter. Upset je did not ask. I would have gone back to mechanic in Irvine and save $260. Anyway I will wait for a call from you top manager meanwhile i am going to call American Express and file a complaint and see if they will put a hold or cancel the charges. Nothing personal against you Alfredo, you are a nice guy. I am very disappointed!
