Surprised to hear today that the standard pricing I’ve been paying for minor service oil changes might be contingent on separate, additional, and un-necessary engine air and cabin air filters. I’ve changed both out for K&N lifetime washable units which I maintain myself. I’ve had about ten services here between five or so advisers and nobody else has mentioned this. I got past this once it was discovered I had just had a transmission service, which was misquoted as a cvt flush. Pilots do not have CVT’s. The experience came off as a push to up sell which is atypical of Honda and the marketing image the brand sells. The service itself went well otherwise and was done in the time quoted for the normal amount.
