Mike Tran, the service rep, was professional and polite. I have no problems with him.
But I am not impressed by the actual service performed. I brought in a car that wouldn't start. After a quick check up I was told it's due to a faulty alternator, which would cost more than $600 to replace.
The next day I decided to try and find another, cheaper shop to do the replacement, so I asked for my car battery to be charged so I can drive it out of the dealer even with a faulty alternator. But a few hours later, I was informed that while taking out my battery to charge it, the service department found that the problem was just a loose connection between a battery terminal and the alternator, which worked fine. The service department attached the loose connection, which fixed the problem. The service department should've made this diagnoses in the first place, instead of telling me I had to replace my alternator.
