Was told vehicle would be ready by 5pm. Returned to pick up vehicle at 5:30pm to find the vehicle was just brought into the shop for service repair. Poor communication from ASM to status update of vehicle; meet original projected promise time conveyed at vehicle drop off. Simple concept: If promise time fails to be met - I get it, things happen. But... if your not going to keep an expected completion time, at least have the courtesy to inform the customer of they delay prior to the expected completion time!
