You told me I would receive free oil changes for life when I purchased my CR-V, but apparently that’s not the case. The next time I come in for an oil change, I’m being told I need to pay $135 plus tax to replace my cabin air filter in order to qualify for my “free” oil change. The problem is that I know how to replace a cabin air filter myself. It takes about five minutes and costs around $10 for the part. I simply cannot justify paying $135 plus tax for something so simple. If that’s what’s required to receive a “free” oil change, then you can keep your free oil changes. Thanks for the customer service.

Mr. Eder Flores was the associate I worked with. Having to return my vehicle because the issue was not initially resolved, he was very receptive to my concerns and listened to what my issues were. He had another technician inspect my vehicle who quickly diagnosed the issues and made the repairs to my satisfaction. The costs of repairs along with a video of explaining the repairs were great and easily understood with no surprises and studiously applied my military discount. Mr. Flores should be commended for his exceptional service and understanding my needs and concerns to repair my vehicle.

I'm slightly confused. The inspection thing I was sent, said that cabin air filter and engine air filter required replacement, and that such had been done. I thought I signed off on it, and was ready to pay, but there were zero charges. I went back and looked at the form I'd clicked and signed. Given that the "Agree" or "Decline" options were part of a pay over time window, I went with the maybe later option - thinking I was declining the pay over time option in that window - not the service itself, even though I had not received any notification saying it was due.
