I took my car for the 15,000 mile warranty service which consists of tire rotation, multi point inspection and was under the impression that included topping off any fluids needed such as my windshield wiper fluid. I bought the car a Coad Toyota and want to have all my service work done there, even though I live in Fredericktown Mo. It would actually be cheaper to have my tires rotated in Fredericktown rather than drive to Cape for my free tire rotation. I have had my oil changed and tires rotated there prior to this trip and had no issues. Everyone there is very friendly. Especially the two gentleman who work the desk when you bring your car in for service.
My service light had came on that says oil change due but I was told that it is the same message for the tire rotation. I’m fine with that, I’m sure that is correct. I knew I had a right front tire low, not bad but not the same as the other three but I had the tire rotation within a couple of days of this discovery, so I didn’t have my tire aired up. I have been taught that the air pressure should be the same in all the tires to make them wear evenly. Only makes sense. Long story short, drove my car back to fredericktown after they were done might service light popped back on and my tire is still low.
I called and they were closed but I left a message about my complaint.
Which I’m sure is petty to some but to me, that’s why I have my car serviced. During and after warranty. Vehicles are very expensive. You have to keep them maintained to make them last. I rely on a service dept to do so. I work to pay someone else with experience to take care of maintenance.
This morning I called the service dept and told them who I was. He said that he gave the service manager my message. I said if you could just tell me how to get the message reset I would do it. He told me he wasn’t familiar with how to but I could look it up in the manual. Then he proceeded to give me the FYI of what a 15,000 service consisted of and if everything looked in range that they don’t do anything. My question to him was if you are rotating the tires it just makes sense to check the air in all four. Again, I was told if it looks in range they don’t do anything. As far as resetting the service light that was just an over site and they apologize but he would have the service manager call me. At that point I told him never mind I guess I am a **** and expect too much. Not to worry I would read the manual and take care of it.
I do appreciate the follow up to make sure I was satisfied with my service.
I apologize if they think I am just a “Karen” I truly don’t mean to be.
Thank you for your time.

My wife had a nail in one tire and they tried to sell her a whole set. The tires on our vehicle only have 19000 miles on them. And then they charged her $27 just to put the spare on.

My tire light has been on since last year and after several tire rotations in the past no one seems to address this issue. I will like for someone to explain why this light continues to stay on and not been repaired. Thank you.

When I was turning over my truck to C.B., I told him I was afraid to ask what a new seat would cost but I might as well inquire. The plastic frame had cracked. Shockingly, he told me Toyota has a "goodwill" program or something like that where y'all replace parts once to maintain an owner's goodwill. Less than an hour later, I had new oil, rotated tires AND a new seat! Unbelievable! Thank you.

Dana is the model of excellence in customer service - she is knowledgeable about each make and model of Toyota, but more importantly has an encyclopedic memory of each customer, their particular vehicles , and how they have been serviced. I trust Dana to tell me exactly what I need to do to keep my beloved cars running well - and I hope you keep Dana as long as you possibly can!!!

I had a plastic back bumper cover that had come un clipped and rattled until it wore out. There tech’s said I had to of hit some thing. Out there is a guy that would moonlight and paint a new one for me if I ordered it. I thought it should have been covered under warranty considering. It didn’t have 15,000 miles on it at the time
