Diego mixed up our account with another customer, who then authorized work to be done on our vehicle that we didn’t know about until it was time for payment. Diego then tried to convince me I was the customer he spoke with (which wasn’t true) to do the work. It was “remedied”, I wasn’t mad, just frustrated that anybody could end up authorizing work to be done on someone else’s vehicle. Seems weirdly unprofessional to me. I didn’t ask or demand for any freebies, just wanted notification of the issue.

My interaction was fine. Although direction on next steps is a little vague. Seems to be a little miscommunication between the actual Service leader and Mikayla's level...?

Too long for oil change and they didn't come in to tell me it was done they sent a text and never told me that was how they were going to tell me that was how it was going to be done.Bad.

Per your comments, "Tech found loose bolt spinning without resistance on passenger side front of skid plate. Once plate was removed, found nut within frame to have snapped welds. Consulted master mechanic, and determined that tightening was likely cause." I asked if you guys would be covering repairs and was told to reach out to lead car toyota who worked on my car repairs in September or November of 2025. You guys have performed multiple services for me since then, so it wouldnt make sense that this was caused by them. All that the service rep, Cael could confidently respond to my inquiries with was, "I don't know," probably in efforts to avoid inadvertently assuming any responsibilities/liabilities as companies will it so. I asked whether you guys will be repairing it charge-free or whether covered under warranty, etc. He said he'd have his manager talk to me but manager was going on lunch. Before leaving, I asked that his manager be put on notice, as I plan on pursuing this matter. Nobody else, myself included, has ever even touched the frame or skid plate area of my vehicle, other than you guys and lead car toyota. I asked why you guys would not have noticed this in prior service appointments if it was allegedly from the repairs to this general area in 2025 & Cael said he didnt know. The only logical answer here is that this was overtightened from the previous service(s) in which you guys had performed. Therefore, it only makes sense that you guys repair what you broke in the first place....As mentioned previously, I plan on pursuing this matter further, if I do not hear back, so that we can reach an agreeable resolve. Thanks.
