Mike kept us informed about the recent inspection on the 2016 Toyota Tacoma driver's headrest. However, the answer from the inspection wasn't what we wanted to hear, as my husband has been dealing with the driver's side headrest problem since we bought the truck in 2016 for his retirement. It was compared to 2 truck headrests on the lot, and he was told it was still in the guidelines and couldn't be replaced. My husband has readjusted his seat while driving trying to get a more comfortable status with the tweaked headrest on the driver's side, compared to the passenger side headrest. We thought Toyota would be able to change it out with a straighter headrest that wouldn't hurt his neck while driving, but that decision didn't happen. :( We are disappointed with the decision that was made, and it had nothing to do with Mike, who handled our truck when brought in for the inspection.
