Dear Toyota Corporate Customer Service, I am filing a formal complaint about a recurring issue with the automatic passenger-side sliding door on my 2024 Toyota Sienna (VIN: 5TDYRKEC7RS218471). Since I received the vehicle, the door has intermittently failed to open using the remote, dashboard button, or handle. The problem seems to be related to weather conditions, but it remains unresolved after three visits to Wesley Chapel Toyota for repairs. Although I provided video evidence of the malfunction, the dealership was unable to reproduce or fix the issue and advised that they would submit the case to Toyota Corporate. Summary of the Issue: The sliding door often does not unlatch on the first attempt and requires manual force to open, posing safety and functionality concerns. Repair History: 12/28/2024: Issue not reproduced, no repair. 07/12/2025: Issue not reproduced, no repair. 10/11/2025: Provided video proof, but no resolution. Request: Open a formal case for this defect. Provide technical assistance to the dealership. Assign a Case Manager as my point of contact. Investigate potential sliding door issues in the 2024 Sienna model. This matter affects my confidence in the vehicle and service received. Please respond promptly with a proposed solution. I can be reached at ****-****-xxxx or Sincerely, Ming

Service times take way too long. Lack of communication is not acceptable and having issues on a brand new car is beyond frustrating.
