I told him I was very particular about my wife’s car and it was returned in fine shape. It was a marked improvement over my previous visit to Bob Smith Toyota.

When I called to schedule, the lady who answered the phone sounded not welcoming, could not find me in the system, took long until finally scheduled me with Jonathan. She seemed like new or detached.Today I was on time to drop the car. Jonathan did not come forward. A girl came to me and said Jonathan was busy! She started writing on her tablet. She didn’t inspect the car or check mileage like others do. I told her my concern and the actual reason for visit and missing work. She didn’t seem interested or listening. She didn’t look at me just write something on tablet and asked me to sign. Terrible! I asked what is it she said $140. I asked what that included. She said oils change. I said I needed tire rotation too because I drive 60 miles per day. She didn’t say anything. I asked about my package and if I could buy one before paying so it would be cheaper. She took me to her desk in corner, printed 2 pages that I didn’t understand. I just signed and walked back home around 7:30 am. She should not be in front talking to people. I actually wanted to ask about upgrading my car again. She gave me such a bad vibe that I decided not to ask. My family advised me not to go back for service or buy.
Later Jonathon called.He said did you receive our message. I said Ian sorry I have been on my work phone with work. I asked if it was an email or message to look it quickly. He said he didn’t know whatever I had signed up! I look at phone and saw a text. I said I got the text. He said they could do 2 repair if I agreed. I realized then why Jonathon was calling. I asked how much. He told me the quote and I said not now. I asked should I come to pick up the car. He said yes. I did. I went to pay. The lady on the right again could not find me. She asked name 3 times, address, car model, phone number. Finally she got up the chair and found a ready green top stapled papers on top of files. I paid and took the car and left.
This unfortunate to see how customer service and skills are declining in our community businesses. That drives local people to go farther to better serving businesses.

I went for oil change and got a phone call. He said the technician couldn’t do it because the hood latch was broken and couldn’t open it. I have never had any problems with other Toyota dealers except Bob Smith.
I was very disappointed and called to the Toyota headquarters for complaints.
