I live 3 hours away. I scheduled my VW for 60k service 2 weeks ago. About an hour into my service (I was quoted about 2 hours which was totally fine), I’m informed that the dealership doesn’t have ANY of the OEM parts necessary for my 60k service. I wasted an entire day driving to and from Billings to discover the dealership didn’t have the parts needed for service. I implore you to be more proactive about what is included in each regular service and ensure you have those parts in stock. And if you don’t, call your customers before they drive 6 hours and waste over $30 in gas (not to mention the value of my time).
A positive from my experience: the exterior of my car was very dirty when I arrived and it was handed over sparkling clean.

Great job at the service desk. Checked in on time and finished as promised. Car seat protective cover was used and appreciated. Unfortunately steering wheel and center consul both had crude on them, something sticky on wheel and oil on consul. Had just cleaned before bringing it in. No big deal, both cleaned off fine, just thought you might want to pass on to tech’s.

I had to bring my car back for second time after having an oil change, as it was continuing to leak oil (The O ring had cracked during oil change and then it was replaced…but the car was still leaking oil…hence second return.). I was told that they had not cleaned up the ‘?oil pan? when they replaced the oil ring and the oil was dripping from there. I believe the problem is now resolved (no more oil drips to date, but I have not driven much since the second time. My issue is primarily one of inconvenience to get issue resolved, as I live by Lake Elmo and the time to get to your location takes time, let alone the time waiting for service to be completed.

I called multiple times asking only for a status on warranty. I already new the diagnosed problem. I was never told that I would pay $170.00 for a diagnostic check. I was told they couldn’t answer me on warranty questions because since they took it over from the former VW everything was a mess. After multiple calls with them saying all I wanted to know was recalls and warranty, since the old VW “fixed” it three times in less than two years, that was all I needed to know. They told me they had to have the vehicle there. I was never quoted $170.00 for a diagnostic. I’m frustrated, because we had a sick coworker today and I couldn’t take it in myself. I should have been called before any agreement for 170 bucks was done. I am not happy with the customer service I was given, I told them from the beginning it was my intake manifold. I did not ask for a full diagnostic. Just warranty because of this switch. It is not my fault you guys can’t bring up former work- which I learned you can today- and that was the only
Info I needed. I feel I should get the 170 reimbursed, and I will be calling tomorrow to ask.
