I am quite upset to be transparent. I was told that my rear main seal was leaking oil. I asked my service man if that was under any type of warranty to which he replied, “no, it’s considered normal wear and tear.” Call it woman’s intuition if you will, but that did not sit right with me. I asked him where I could get a copy of the extended warranty I purchased to which he responded I could to Lexus of Henderson where I purchased it and they could give me a copy. I decided to call and would you know, when the lady asked my service guy if that issue could be covered by my Platinum warranty, he said yes…I have never felt so disappointed in this dealership in my life. I feel like there was an intention of taking advantage of me and that is not sitting well at all. I am taking my vehicle somewhere else and I will be determining who to report this theft attempt to. It’s terrible to think a company like yours would condone this sort of practice but I am sure I am one of many. It’s just a great example of why consumers have to be educated otherwise companies will prey on those they view as weak. I hope your organization does something meaningful with this information because I plan to share my story with all of my friends and family that purchase or consider purchasing any services from such a corrupt place of “business.” You can know, without a doubt, you will never get my business again.

My service visit on 6/5/24 did not go well at all. The service department told me once again that they could not verify the problem I was describing to them, and therefore they could not fix it or do any further diagnostics. I have brought the car in several times over the last few years for the same problem and they’ve never been able to replicate it and therefore refused to fix it. Since my extended warranty expires in 14 days, I picked up my car early this morning and took it straight to Tireworks who has mechanics that are willing to truly dig into the problem and try to resolve it rather than run the simple computer program and do nothing else. Within two hours, they discovered the problem, but unfortunately, they sent me back to Lexus to fix it with a report as to what needed to be done and results of the tests. It’s a serious matter, and a potentially dangerous matter if it does not get fixed. This has caused me money and aggravation, as well as a significant amount of time. It makes no sense to me why Lexus technicians are not able to resolve problems. Each time I’ve come to Lexus to service my vehicle all I hear is “we can’t replicate the problem” or “we ran the diagnostics through the computer and nothing is showing up”. This is so extremely frustrating. It’s basically gaslighting your customer and telling them that they’re not experiencing what they’ve been experiencing on the road. I will never ever ever purchase another Lexus and it’s because of the quality of service I have received at your dealership over the last 4 years. My service manager has always been extremely nice yet this last time he didn’t listen to me, nor did he watch the videos I brought in, so consequently, he did not understand the problem clearly. I know he was busy, but I think he would’ve been more effective in communicating the issue to the technician if he had taken the time to watch the videos that he sent over to the technician. This way, if he had any questions, he would’ve been able to ask me for clarification before accusing me of causing the problem when he finally watched them. This was so upsetting to me on the phone after dealing with this for years. I don’t understand why your team doesn’t believe their customers! My vehicle is currently in your service department again and I truly hope that your technicians will do the job. They should’ve done done in the first place and get this fixed once and for all.
