The guy who helped me was great but my dad was able to receive was discount on his oil change it was only somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 I went in today and it was $109 asked for the same discount and it was only if you call the customer apparently

I really hate to complain, but I was very dissatisfied with my experience at Baxter. I’ve had a negative experience prior with Baxter Toyotas service dept & I didn’t plan on coming back but when they called with an offer on a cheap oil change I thought I’d give Baxter another chance & I think this time was worse than the last. I had an appt for 3pm - I called the dealership & let them know that I would be 10-15 minutes late because when I got in my car my tire was totally flat (one of the reasons for the appt) so I had to stop & fill it up. I arrived at the dealership at 315pm. When I made the appt I said I needed an oil change & tire patch for a leak & asked how long that would approximately take, the gal told me 1-1.5 hrs. At 440 I asked the technician for an update on how long it would be cause I needed to leave soon to get my son picked up & it was starting to snow so I wanted to be able to leave as soon as possible, he told me they would skip the oil change & just put my tire back on so I could get going. Another hour passed with no updates & at 540 I went to the counter to ask what was going on. At that point my car was done but your service dept is completely unreliable timewise & that’s why I had previously decided not to come to Baxter Toyota because when I’ve come for previous oil changes I would be there for like 2.5 hrs. This time I was there for nearly 3 hrs. Because of how long it took, I had to drive in terrible road conditions, and I arrived at my sons daycare late so I had to pay a fee for picking him up late, which if the quoted 1-1.5 hrs had been accurate I would have been no where near late to pick him up. I’m a single parent raising my son on my own & I have a very demanding career so these long wait times are just ridiculous. And I didn’t even get my oiled changed or tires rotated after being there for nearly 3 hrs, all they did was patch the tire & put it back on. For this reason I will not be coming back to Baxter Toyota no matter how cheap the deal is you’re offering.
