During the recall repair on the battery something must have gone wrong. My car was working fine and now it is difficult to start. When I called back after my first stop I was told they were closing soon and I could bring it back Monday. I live out of town and will have to miss work for this additional repair I was not expecting. I originally brought my car in just a simple oil change and didn’t plan on additional trips for repairs needed because of work done at Toyota

Had an appointment at 1:45 pm for an oil change. I did not receive the multipoint inspection and the technicians additional recommendations until just about 2 hours later. It has never taken this long before, ever. We did accept the technicians additional fixes, which took longer, but was expected given the type of fixes.
I’ve been in many times before and never had a repairs take a few hours. I don’t know if Baxter had less technicians on staff today. Or if additional repairs came up during the initial scheduled repair.
Transparency goes a long way. My wife, and I, could have planned our evening much better if someone would have told us things were falling way behind schedule. And we would have more respect for the team as they were probably trying to catch up with all the work.
