I made an appointment for an oil change with Baxter. Upon arrival, they informed me they would not change the oil until it reached 10,000 miles. I was in the dealership for 90 minutes when they realized they had checked in the wrong vehicle and still hadn’t touched mine. The gentleman I was dealing with didn’t even bother to apologize. His name is Mike. I wish they could’ve clarified that they won’t change the oil until it reaches 10,000 miles prior to me driving all the way over to the dealership. This is pathetic. My wife then called the dealership when we got home and requested to speak to the manager. She got their voicemail and they never did return her call. Unacceptable! We have bought two brand new vehicles from Baxter Toyota in Lincoln within the last year and are extremely unhappy! Done referring anyone to this place if nothing changes! I am really disappointed and shocked

It was a little confusing when the technician went over the findings of the multi-point inspection. He told me that they recommended that I replace two of the air filters. When I asked about it, he said that I could wait until the next 10,000-mile service. My question is, why would he recommend replacing them, and in the same breath say that I could wait to replace them? I chose to wait because I was slightly confused.
