After carefully considering whether or not to give feedback, I thought it best to do so.
I've been bringing cars to Frank Leta for service a number of years now. It's the only place that our 2013 CRV - bought from Leta - has been serviced. I used to work with Mike Law and Mike Case and I had developed a relationship with both of them, and I trusted them to not mislead me on anything.
When I brought the CRV in for a state inspection, both Mikes were no longer working there. I worked with another service advisor (Kimberly perhaps?). After the inspection was complete, I was told that the car failed due to the rear brake pads being "metal-on-metal", and that I needed to have them replaced (with a recommendation on having the rotors refinished) - $640 total for all four brakes and rotors. I've heard this expression used in Honda dealerships before so I elected to replace my own brake pads. The rear pads, while well-worn and in need of replacement, were not only not "metal-on-metal" but actually had enough life left to have passed the inspection. This means the tech who inspected the car either didn't bother to remove the wheel and measure the pads at best -or- was trying to sell me something I didn't need at worst. While I can't say for sure what happened, I don't necessarily trust Leta any more.
When I brought the car back in with the worn pads to show the service department, James Hannon did pull me aside to apologize. I can say that he handled himself well and he seemed sincere in his desire to re-establish trust. I have no complaint about our interactions.
Combining this incident with Leta's insistence that all new cars sold during the inventory shortage be sold with very overpriced accessories (all-weather treatment stuff, mats, etc), there isn't really a reason to go there any more. I hate to say that as most of our experiences there have been positive but the top priority for me is trust.

James was wonderful from start to finish. Explained everything very well about replacing my front brake pads and why it was necessary to grind the rotors as well. Since I know nothing about cars, he was very helpful and spoke in terminology I could understand. He was able to get me in immediately and I had the most pleasant interaction with him. When I bring my vehicle back for service, I will request James. It was a good experience and I appreciate the cleanliness and comfortable chairs and snacks in your waiting room. Tyler was rude. We were there for a 11:00 oil change appointment. He didn’t write up our paperwork until 11:40. He signed Megan’s name without checking with us if we needed anything extra. Usually they ask if we want a car wash. That was not done. Our car was done so we asked him if we could check out. He took our paperwork and set aside and said it will take a while to be completed. After 15 minutes I went in to the service department to see if it was ready. The other service technician was very nice and helped us check out.
