It does seem strange to get a recall notice on my Ford Explorer and have to first get an inspection to even get in the waiting list to have it done. #144 If ford only sends you 4 a week it will take 36 weeks to get it done.

The only complaint I have is the fact that the dealership did not have any car rentals available. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental when one was supposed to be covered by my service plan.

I'm very disappointed that Ford motor company would not work with me to help me out with a $500 deductible on a vehicle that had $21,500 mi on it with a known defective blend door actuator issue. My experience at akins Ford was outstanding. My problem and issue is with Ford motor company. General motors would have worked with me on my issue. Ford chose not to do so. I will remember that next time I buy a truck when I retire in 5 years to pull a camper across the country.
