The wait for an oil change was unreal, almost 4 hrs. I asked the advisor to make sure they checked my truck battery to ensure it was good, which the report showed all green, the next day the battery was dead which left me stranded at work. I double checked the oil on the dip stick ensure the oil was changed, just to make sure it was done. I have been a customer of Akins for over 30 years and never had issues like this before. I’m very disappointed in the service, ie wait time and showing that the battery was good.

If they check the air filter they need to make sure all the hoses are connected properly when done , The connection on mine was not properly secured so when driving it after it was picked up it caused all the engine lights to come on an the truck to run rough . I had to connect the air hose running from the air box back to the engine an get a friend of mine to reset all the flashing codes on the truck dash ,,

Hey I just want to say start to finish everyone was great at communicating and meeting my needs. I've worked with other dealerships in the past and you guys have an unrivaled experience.
Your guys communication system is great and I knew when, what, and why everything was happening. Didn't even need to argue that stuff was covered by warranty, the warranty was applied before I even got there (opposite experience at other dealerships).

The process is backwards. If I turn in a truck for service I should get a truck for rental. If you don’t have a truck then an actual rental should be reimbursed automatically. The fact I have to get a separate rental and hope to get reimbursed is a terrible process you should approve or deny prior to turning my truck in so I’m case of denial I can reschedule my appointment so that I have a truck the whole time.
