Came in for oil change. My check engine light was on also. When I left I asked what the check engine light was for. I was told the service advisor would call and let me know. Never heard from him.. I left a message on Deanna’s voicemail the next day that I needed to know what the check engine light was for. Never heard from her. First time I’ve ever been disappointed in dealing with akin. I’ve bought a few vehicles and had a lot of service done there.

I made an appointment for Friday, 10/25/2024, at 1:30pm. When making the appointment for our 2014 RAM I said we need a synthetic oil change, tire rotation and balance, bumper to bumper inspection/multi point inspection, and check to see if an alignment is needed. Then when I dropped it off on the 25th at 1:15pm, I once again went over everything I needed. At 4:15pm, I was told my truck was ready. While checking out I was told they did a synthetic oil change and an alignment. I said I was also supposed to have a tire rotation and balance. The guy said yes they do that with the alignment. I took his word, paid, and left. While driving home, which is 40-45 minutes away, I noticed when I reached the speed of 50 or more my truck had a lot of vibration. The steering wheel was very bumpy. I called my husband which immediately called back to Akins. He was told they did a tire rotation but didn’t check or do a balance and they couldn’t find a sheet where a bumper to bumper inspection was done either. I waited 3 hours at Akins for this service to be done and also adding the fact I drove 40-45 minutes to there and back just to find out the service I requested was not done. Now I have to drive back another day for the service department to do what they were already supposed to do. This is costing me more time and gas to have this corrected.
