Let me start out by saying this. Akins has a name for itself which has been a good name. But for some reason every time I have tried to make an appointment or I have had an appointment it’s always been a hassle. I was told over text “ they apologize but had been in meetings and would let me know something as to when I could bring my car in. I waited a week, and I called back then was told “ I thought I told you to bring it in on Friday. I get there the day to drop off and my advisor wasn’t very helpful, I received a text stating they are short handed and not sure when they would get to my car then ten minutes later received a call from my advisor telling me the tech heard a noise but then also noticed a control arm on my car had some movement. Said I needed to replace all four of them, that it would be $1,300.00 roughly. I then ask for pricing on parts, received that and the price difference from one control arm to the next both being uppers just different sides was about 40 ish dollars. Anyway long story short, I picked my car up nothing addressed not even my second concerned was diagnosed. At pickup was told one price which was different than what my advisor told me when I ask over then phone. Later I had text I assume is a manager as well and she told me she would talk to the person who rode with me and the manager and call me back. It’s going on week two and still have not heard from anyone. So needless to say no I am not happy at all.

Because of the rear brakes this vehicle has been the noisiest and most embarrassing vehicle I have ever owned.

The service was great. She did an excellent job but The light that got changed now does not work at all. She had to ask someone to fix it bc someone Else put it in about a month ago and it did not work properly. now it’s not even on or turning on at all.

The service was good however we had scheduled a new car clean up the same day that was not done the day of purchase. We were given a 10:30 appointment and at 12 they told us they were trying to clean up a shipment of new cars to get out on the lot and were back up for a while. We felt that a new car owner should have come before cars that were not sold yet.
