I was remarkably satisfied with my entire experience until it was time to get my keys. The service rep told me my car engine had a bunch of oil all over it and the techs could not determine the point of origin. The agent said I needed to keep my oil topped off until my next service appointment and to monitor closely until such time I was back for service. He said if my block was leaking, the cost would likely be between 4-5K.
At the time, I should have asked to see my engine, but I did not. On the way home, I got scared, so I went to my brother in laws home, and he checked my engine, as well as beneath my truck. No oil in sight.
I don’t understand why I was told something about my car that wasn’t true. I was scared to even be driving my car home, and I have lost confidence in the general maintenance section of Toyota Puyallup.
