Disappointed in Service Experience
I’ve always chosen BMW because of the exceptional service experience that typically comes with the brand — unfortunately, what I encountered from the service department was the complete opposite.
I waited at home for nine hours for a simple oil change with no communication from the service team. I had to call four times just to get an update, only to be told that the staff was “really busy” and “everyone’s in a training class.” I was informed that because I wasn’t physically in the dealership, I was not a priority. I was also told that my advisor would email me “when he has time.”
When I finally arrived to pick up my vehicle, not a single person greeted us. The environment felt unprofessional, and the employee at the service counter appeared half dressed — it felt more like a high school than a premium automotive service center.
This experience fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect from BMW. Communication, professionalism, and respect for the customer’s time should never be optional — and certainly not for a brand that prides itself on service excellence.
