I still do bot have my car back after the oil change & DEF fill up (along with some other work), and I received an urgent warning when driving the car for about 3-4 miles that the incorrect DEF was in the system. Car returned immediately to shop where it is currently. How I was treated by staff, no complaints. Just that my trip back home to South Dakota has been delayed (hopefully not for long).

The service is fine. I went in for an oil change, a recall, a filter, and I upgraded to flush out the radiator. In the video I was sent, the tech showed to potential issues. These issues equated to over $2700 and my vehicle to have to stay the weekend. But they were potential, not immediate issues. Shane tried to sell me on the potential issues, using tactics both scare (saying parts may not be available in the future, and how the tariffs will raise the cost of these same parts. Weather I agree with this or not, seemed out of touch with the shear fact that I made a decision to wait a bit for these replacements. We we went back to the dealership to pickup the car, Shane was clearly uneasy which made both my wife and I feel guilty. The icing on the cake is how if you pay with your credit card, you will need to pay the 3% fee charged by the credit card company. My suggestion is that if you (BMW) are going to charge back the credit card fee, it makes your organization look cheap, not prestigious. Second, don’t try and test my intelligence by saying the credit card company is making you charge the fee. I’m not sure what is going on with BMW, but seriously you can do better than this.
