I have to thank Brian for putting up with my frustration. This was a dead battery, which was nothing unusual except that the electronic display went crazy with warning messages. There is nothing in the manual to explain this behavior. I appreciate Brian and the service dept going the extra mile to check out all of the car's systems to ensure there was no underlying or unaddressed cause.
