It’s actually a pleasure bringing my XC40 in for service. I was promptly greeted, treated professionally, and the customer lounge was comfortable while service was being completed. Love having my car washed while there. My service advisor Antonio was polite and kept me informed of the status as I waited.

I visited Volvo Arrowhead because I had a screw in the sidewall of the rear driver side tire. I ordered the tire online and selected Volvo Valet. Somehow, this did not get transmitted to the dealer so I had to bring the car in and sit at the dealership for a few hours. However, the most important reason for my rating is that I have now learned that my husband inspected my tires three days ago, before he left for vacation and disagrees with the assessment by the service personnel. He said there was some damage to both passenger side tires, but it was superficial and I should not have been sold three tires. Also, if I truly did need three, I should have been directed to look at options and not exactly those tires. If they are damaged so easily (the curb I hit is pulling into a parking lot, so going about 5 mph), they are not good quality. The tires had less than 5K miles on them and he is very upset that I was sold three tires. He did not see a bubble on the one tire and believes that I was taken advantage of and sold two tires I did not need. Unfortunately, he was not reachable yesterday as he was travelling and honestly, I did not think that Volvo would take advantage of a customer like that so I did not think to call him. I originally took my car to Costco and they did not have the right tire at the time. Costco told me that there was damage on one additional tire, but it was not a safety issue. I chose to trust Volvo instead, but that was my mistake. I am quite disappointed in Volvo. These were very expensive tires and the ones on the vehicle were practically brand new. I will not be returning to Volvo Arrowhead, or other dealerships for service in the future.
