Acknowledged problem and undertook correcting the problem but no guarantee it was fixed. A wait and see. Service was great. My Tacoma is 9 years old. Guess problem was so unique I was the first to have it. Not really sure how that happens with so many Tacomas on the road made with the same SAIS for years 13-15? Maybe I should thank the state of California or specifically CARB for making Toyota strangle their engines? Hope this comment got a laugh.

He gives well-considered guidance on caring and maintenance needs for my 6-7 year old, very low mileage Camry. His timing estimates are accurate, so I know my car will be ready as predicted. Too expensive. I am mostly pleased with Rachel’s work but I find Toyota’s service charge too high. Also while the final report indicates a should in time buy a new set of tires, that doesn’t give me enough information. I am taking a road trip to Utah in. Month. Do I have enough on the current tires to be safe? I have no idea.

I was happy with Rachel but did want to make a few comments. One, I was surprised that there was no car wash, loaner car, or any other perk given during my service. When I got my car back, I noticed my floor mat had been removed. I asked the guy who pulled up my car and he said, “oh it must be in the back…”. And I responded, “well, can you put it back?” And he unceremoniously grabbed it at threw it on my floor (covering the peddles) and walked away. It was very unprofessional and surprised me.
