Patrick did not listen. But he and the manager made it right in the end. Service minder Code 1-A is an oil change and tire rotation. I asked how much is a tire rotation? He replied 69.95 for both, which he put on the estimate paper which I signed. When I picked up my car, the tire rotation wasn't done, and he replied "you said you didn't want it." I pointed out yes I did, and signed the estimate that included it. He said, ok, we will do it for you real fast, at no charge. Of course he did the credit card paying for it first BEFORE reviewing what had been done-- bad idea, but stupid me went along with it cuz it was my first time there & I thought that was their way. The manager was nearby and heard the conversation, and confirmed they'd do the rotation at no charge.
My first-time visit gives me a good impression of the dealer service, but NOT of Patrick. He is friendly but doesn't listen and doesn't pay attention to detail. I don't want to be schmoozed, i just want to be heard and have accurate and competent work.
Also, I used the shuttle service cuz I live only 5 min away-- someone told the pickup driver that I live in Chino Hills-- I live in Upland. Not horrible, cuz of course
I told him when he called-- but not good-- people aren't listening.
I will bring my car again, but will ask for a different service advisor. I bought and serviced this car in Pasadena, till I moved here to Upland. Thank you for listening. I want to like this dealer because it's so close!
