I had my car serviced last Saturday and came back today as a follow up to have new tires put on my car. Last week I was told my brakes were at a 3 and not urgent to be repaired however today I was told they were at 1 and would need to be repaired as soon as possible. I questioned why there would be such a big difference in just 6 days time, especially since I had not driven my car all week since I was out of town. At that point I was told the mechanic who worked on my car last week was new and made a mistake. There also seemed to be issues with pulling up last weeks info, when I informed the gentlemen I had the print out of my inspection in the car he was able to pull it up in the system. I am still not sure where the mistake happened, if it was with my original inspection last week or if there was an issue today. I come here regularly because I trust working with the dealer more than a jiffy lube or Goodyear, however todays experience was very disappointing. I currently have both print outs regarding the break inspection on my car and do plan on getting another opinion on the current condition of my breaks.

I will not return back to Weir Honda anymore. There is total lack of communication between service team and customer. It took over 4 days to get the car fixed for battery and alarm removal. Within the whole entire time, I received one call from David to install the battery. I had to make calls everyday to confirm the status and he gave me so much run around about how busy they are and my car will require more time for further diagnostic. In the end, although he claims that he had reached out to me, I have never received his call nor his text that the car service was done. Please reexamine your work flow and efficiency of your service team and mechanics. There are too much run around, especially from David, and too long of a wait to figure out something simple as battery removal.

I was told that I need an entirely new transmission for $5800 and when I took it to an honest transmission place, it simply needed a new sensor. I’m glad I got a second opinion but I feel this dealership is completely dishonest. When I questioned why a car that had less than 90,000 miles would need an entirely new transmission already, they said it’s rare but it happens. I’m sure I’m not the first person that this has happened to because this isn’t the first time this is happened to me at Weir Canyon Honda. The last time I had an issue like this they wanted to sell me a new air filter without even noticing I had K&N’s in all my cars. Bad experiences like this get much more word of mouth than any good experience; something needs to be done about the honesty of these mechanics at this dealership.
