Vehicle was not returned to me in the same condition as compared to the time of drop off. I understand that trim pieces had to be removed in order to get to the seat belt mechanism that was in question, but the trim pieces were left off and not placed back in their original presentation/condition. Very poor plan and execution on the technician's part

I brought my 2016 Honda Pilot in for an oil change at 9am. There was a code showing up as well & the Honda associate explained the codes & what needed to done. I greatly appreciated that. I also informed the associate that for the last 6 weeks my front passenger tire keeps getting a low pressure message & I was filling it up every 2 weeks I suspected a slow leak. He said he would get it checked out. I specifically asked what time would all the services be done, I needed my car by 2 pm I had to pick my kids up from school. The young associate said no problem it would be done between 12-12:30pm The associate never called or texted me that it was taking longer. I waited to text until 1:15/1:30 to get an update and I received no text back. I called to get an update and another associate informed me it was still being worked on but he would have the young associate I was dealing with to give me a call regarding the status of my vehicle. I didn’t hear anything and ran 2 miles to go & get my 7 yr old & 12yr old by 2:15 so we could walk the 2 miles back. The young associate never called, he texted after 2:15 after I ran to get my kids it would took longer but my car would be ready soon. I asked what time would it be done as I needed a ride to pick it up, which I had told him in the morning. I told him I would be at my home at 3pm as I had to walk back with my kids. He sent the Uber to my home at 2:45, as I was not there since it wasn’t 3pm, the Uber driver cancelled the pick up. I called the Uber driver but my phone # wasn’t associated with account so I wasn’t able to speak to the driver. I called back again not getting the associate I originally dealt with but the other team member got me another Uber. Unfortunately that Uber showed up at 3:24pm, my 3rd son gets out of school at 3:30 and had no idea I wasn’t going to get him at his middle school. My issue was the lack of communication from the young associate. I stressed the importance of time, how I had to get my kids by a certain time. As I’ve been serviced at your location for the last couple of years the older associates have always kept me well informed with time changes and I could then make other arrangements. The young associate was very polite but never apologized & created a very stressful situation that wasn’t necessary.
