On March 7, your Service Advisor was very helpful, but wasn’t completely knowledgeable about the battery warranty information. I was there because I needed to replace my battery. I was previously there a few days before on Friday, March 3 and decided not to replace my battery at that time. On March 3, I was told that the new battery has a 100 month warranty. I thought I could go a little longer on the battery I had, so didn’t buy it then. When I returned on March 7, to have the battery replaced and was at the counter about to pay when a different Service Advisor, Mark I think, was talking about the new battery warranty when I thought to ask my Service Advisor if the battery I had in my car qualified for the warranty. He asked and found out it did and that I was going to pay a prorated amount based on the age of the battery, 45 months. My payment responsibility was 40% of $199, which worked out to be $80 + tax. I was happy to pay the prorated amount, but then thought about how it didn’t seem that the Service Advisor was going to apply the warranty to my old battery and charge me a prorated price on the new battery purchase. I hope this hasn’t been the case with other customers. Thank you.
