I spoke with a young lady named Nessa and explained that I had been taking my Cadillac to the Carlsbad dealership for years but just recently moved to Menifee and was in need of a repair. She put me on hold and spoke with a manager to see if they could do the work because they only work on 2016 and newer because my car was a 09'. She returned and said they could. We went on to discussing the issues and she put me on hold once again to make sure they could get the parts and returned to say they could not get all the parts they might need for whatever reason. I said if I could purchase the parts from the Carlsbad dealership and shipped them to them would that be okay? She put me on hold for a 3rd time and once again confirmed it was okay. I said okay and had my vehicle towed to the Paradise dealership. The next day I get a call from Michael asking me if any other mechanic has worked on my car besides the dealership in Carlsbad and I said no. He then proceeded to tell me that he want to start the repairs on the car because he didn't know how far it would go and it would be very pricey actually more than my car was actually worth. He then states that the diagnostic was only pulling up 300 it wasn't telling him specifically which cylinder was misfiring. It needed to give him a specific code like 301 or 302 to let him know which cylinders were misfiring. So I spent $160 to tow it to him and then had to get it towed from the dealership putting me out of $475. This by far the worst experience I've had dealing with the dealership in my life. At this point I don't know what else to do or what to do to get reimbursed for the money and the time that I spent for no reason after being lied to and mistreated so unfairly. I will be contacting the better Business bureau and making a complaint.
