It was explained to me that the $49.99 price was for conventional motor oil. The $89.99 charged to me was due to the synthetic oil. I looked at my invoice and the were about $50. The rest (about $40) was labor. If we breakdown the $49.99 for the conventional oil, it should be about $30 for the parts and $20 for the labor. I guess pouring synthetic oil into an engine is twice as hard.
