I brought my truck in for troubleshooting the AC system blowing only cold air through the far left drivers side and warm air through the other 3 vents. I was told probably blender door before coming in. Dropped my truck off and received a call later that my AC system was contaminated with R134a Freon. System contained 25% R134a and 75% R1234YF. I have never had the system worked on anywhere, the truck has always been to Toyota of Danville for service. I bought the truck from Toyota of Danville. All I can say is I must have been sold a vehicle that was contaminated. So I pay $144 for someone to tell me my AC system is contaminated and didn’t even look into the blender door problem. I am completely floored about this... This truck has been nothing but problems. The hood had to be repainted through Toyota of Danville because the paint was coming off. Not to mention I was given a quote when I picked my truck up to evacuate the AC system and recharge it for $495. Mind you this doesn’t include looking into the blender door. I don’t think I will ever be coming back to Toyota of Danville.

YES for the service Dept. No for the sales/purchase experience. Learned to never trust any sales person unless you get it in writing. I believed a person should stand by their word. They would have me believe that I misunderstood what was said. I have asked my heavenly Father to forgive me because of my attitude and to help me to forgive the wrong I feel was done to us regarding the cost of the addl key where in we understood Toyoya would be covering half of the cost. I need to forgive and not hold ill thoughts regarding this matter. Life is too short to hold grudges.
