Just had a question about a suggested deterrent to rodents chewing tubing or wires in my car. It was suggested that I try putting one or two bars of soap in the engine compartment. My questions:
1. Do I leave them in the engine compartment 24/7?
2. Do tape them to some metal part?
3. I guess I could check this out online.

I called late Friday afternoon after several warning lights came on as I was driving to Santa Barbara. Jess encouraged me to come in and told me that if they could. not solve the problem that night , they would arrange a loaner. I got there about 4:30 and she made my case her top priority.
