Well, to be honest- since you asked. Today I came in because of a burning smell from my engine. I used my 1/2 hour lunch and an extra 40 or so minutes to drive from Camarillo to the dealership and check my car in/pick up the loaner, etc.(thank you for the loaner.) Everyone that I came in contact with was pleasant, no complaints there. I received a call in the late afternoon saying that my car was ready, and that it had been found to be an oil leak from a faulty oil filter.. I left work 30 minutes early to go back to pick up the car (because it was gonna be hard to get away from work the following day)The timing was during the heavy rush hour traffic. I just barely made it before closing. There was no charge (which obviously I was happy about & grateful for.) I arrived just in the nick of time. I was just surprised that your Subaru dealership would be using parts that would fail like that. I was surprised that I wasn’t offered some sort of consolation for the inconvenience and time out of my day and away from work(like a discount on my next oil change or something?)... I guess I just lost a little bit of faith in your service department, and your customer care in a situation like this.. When I came home tonight after my 40 minute drive back to Camarillo in traffic, the smell was still there, so I guess there’s still oil in some nooks and crannies, that will take time to burn off. The whole thing was just kind of a bummer. I’m grateful of course, that there was nothing wrong with my car. Thank you, Lisa Pulido

I arrived and was helped at 1112 AM, was told I would get updated in 15-20 min about my Tire pressure light. I was not approached/updated about my vehicle until after three out of the FOUR hours I was there. The only person that approached me and was concerned was an employee working next to the lobby who was curious why I was there for so long, she was helpful.

Was not notified in a timely manner that my Forester repairs were completed. When I called for an update, I was told that Gabby had the day off and my car was awaiting pickup. when I arrived at the cashier, I asked when my car had been completed and there was no completion time noted. So I have no idea how long my car was awaiting pickup. It seems a little better communication is in order for notifying customers of completed work orders.

Suuuuper fast service getting my valve springs replaced as part of a required recall. Jason kept me informed on what needed to be worked on my car and was great about getting me the proof of correction paperwork I needed for the DMV. Kirby Subaru of Ventura is such a great place to get my Subie serviced!
