Philip Rosales was outstanding and he is a valuable asset to Honda. In short, he stepped in after two prior visits where the stalling issue tied to the idle-stop system was not resolved. Once involved, he took the concern seriously, reviewed the history, and ensured the foreman completed thorough diagnostics. This ultimately led to identifying and replacing a faulty starter on a nearly new vehicle, which resolved the issue.
While the experience was frustrating and disruptive for our family due to multiple long service visits, Philip’s professionalism, communication, and follow-through restored our confidence that the issue was properly addressed. He was responsive, respectful, and clearly advocated for us. The resolution would not have happened without his involvement.
That said, this experience has raised real concerns for us about Honda reliability and quality control. This was a nearly new vehicle with low mileage, and the fact that it took multiple visits and escalation before the problem was acknowledged and diagnosed was frustrating and concerning. We expect better consistency and trustworthiness from a brand like Honda.
