I paid for a front-end alignment and the mechanic did not do the job properly. In addition, the rubber boot that is connected to the right tie-rod end is twisted and now has two holes in it because the mechanic did not loosen it prior to adjusting the alignment. However, the boot connected to the left tie-rod end is not twisted. This indicates that the mechanic did not adjust the left side. As a result, my car is still pulling to the right. Also, I paid to have my rotors replaced. But when pressing the brakes the steering wheel vibrates. If the mechanic didn’t do the alignment correcting, then it’s possible he did not install the rotors and brake pads correctly. I paid nearly $400 for the service. This is my second visit at the Vista store and I am not impressed. For example, my appointment was at 7am but my car sat outside on the lot for 1 hour 20 minutes before work was started. That’s not good service. This is not how you attract new customers. The mechanic should not take short cuts when performing maintenance work. The mechanics checklist notes that everything related the the service was checked. However, the report is inaccurate. I will be following up on this for corrective action.
