Norm Reeves Honda Vista Auto Repair Service

Jesse Herrera was amazing as my service technician today April 8. Even though I took my (inherited) 2006 Honda CRV in for only an oil change, I needed to find out what other work the vehicle would need soon. Jesse gave me exactly what I needed from the service technician Leony, who did the multiple assessment when doing the service. I was fortunate to have a Sunbit credit from an application on my first visit. I was able to use it to apply toward the cost of my oil change and brake fluid fill today. Then Jesse surprised me upon check out and showed me that my credit had increased! Everyone at Norm Reeves Honda in Vista is courteous and conscientious. I also met Service Manager Mark Morrow, who even put my favorite music on the overhead system in the show room while I waited nearby. Another service representative came by and offered me water as well as some snacks! Norm Reeves Honda has helped me overcome any apprehensions that I previously held regarding service at automobile dealerships! Thank you everyone!

Sal was an AWESOME customer representative. He was super cool and very professional. However, the mechanic who worked on my car deserves Zero stars. Not only did he return my car back to me with excessive amount of tire bead seal coated on my rims, he also tracked that grease inside my car onto my arm rest. Me and Sal both talked about 2 of my front rims being lightly curb rashed. When the mechanic installed my tires, he managed to damage my other 2 Good rims with the tire pry bar. Now I need to fix all 4 instead of 2. A deep Scratch near one of my tire stems. And deep scratches where the tire weights were removed. I worked at a tire shop changing tires and performing oil changes before I started welding. I would’ve wiped off all excessive grease and took better care of the customers car, especially it being a Civic Si. I know if he did this to a Type R owner, he/she would be furious. I’ve applied to Honda 3 times to be an express technician, it was a dream since I was a kid to work at Honda, but I was spat in my face by Ryan’s assistant and given a different offer to be a car washer. There’s mechanic’s like the one who serviced my car who does a horrible messy job. I felt VERY uncomfortable knowing he accessed my engine air filter. I also perform my own oil changes on my Civic Si because when I brought it in for its first oil change, the oil drain plug was NOT torqued to spec and could be loosened by hand, no tool was needed. I found that out because I smelled oil coming from a bran new car that only had 5,000 miles. It was a messy clean-up. It’s a shame that there is people here who take no pride in their work, when there is people like me who has been wanting to work for Honda since I was a kid. I would take a lot of pride in my work. I l really hope my feedback gets read. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Vanessa was great. Very kind and helpful, big shout out for the quick maintenance turnaround. Turned in my car at 11 on a Saturday and got it back by 4:30 with a full inspection and service.
