The issue is that my parents noticed something wrong with the hood just right now. (Hours later after getting home). Upon further inspection, the piece of metal that supports the hood when you have it open seems to have been damaged. It no longer returns to its resting position nor the raised position where it’s supposed to insert into the hood when the hood is opened.
