Rapids Honda Auto Repair Service

In making the appointment and verifying that I could drop off the evening before with shawn- i mentioned to put in the notes that I would like The car lifted from the frame and not the pinch rails because being aware of the age I wanted to avoid damage. Just to reiterate at around Eight a m I called and left a voicemail Relaying the same information. I also was able to speak to the service advisor before he said the work was completed and reminded him. In that phone call.He told me that the wheels were taken off.Everything was inspected that the Tires needed to be remounted instead of just swapped. I was told I'd get a call back very quickly. A couple hours later , I Receive the phone call Stating that the service advisor was mistaken. They could just swap it around. I also questioned the brakes.He told me the tires were off And they used the gauge. After being Asked just to rotate the two tires I was told the wheels were unable to come off. How did they come off previously to check the brakes And The suspension? On pickup of the vehicle the pinch rails are pushed up - metal cracking off. I Relayed this before accepting the keys and was told to speak to Shaun again the following day. When starting the vehicle I noticed the Tires haven't even been filled with air. For the amounts And inspection costs.I figure one of the first places they would check would be tire pressure. I'm Severely disappointed With the communication and service provided. ****-****-xxxx In attempting to talk to Sean, I was told it was an old car with a lot of mileage.What did I expect. Very unhappy with the service provided

I wasn’t explained any of the things on the paperwork so didn’t understand what I should get repaired now and what could wait. So I just picked my vehicle up and will bring it somewhere else

I am extremely happy with my interactions with Shawn. He went above and beyond to try and get a known issue covered by Honda.(CRV turbo failure.) That said, I am extremely disappointed in Honda’s handling of the situation and will not be purchasing another Honda in the future.

Thank you Blong for quick response in taking care of the issue of the tire being wrongly mounted with air leaking and talking to mechanic staff to do a quality job not to rush work where mistakes are made, and to talk to staff to gain trust and confidence from customers how they do their job and for them to do quality work for customers and show they care for customers and their vehicles. Despite there being plenty of employees present, few seemed engaged or interested in assisting. This, combined with the excessive wait times, made it clear that my time and business were not valued. As a customer, I expected a more attentive and service-oriented experience.

I blame myself. I brought the car in to have a trailer hitch installed. The hitch was installed as expected, and very quickly. The problem is only a hitch was installed. I was expecting a hitch and wiring. It’s totally my fault for not asking the right questions when making the appointment..
