Hello Shawn,
I have been having an absolute nightmare communicating with anybody there at Honda. First, my phone number was entered incorrectly at check in, so I never received a call. Second, I called and left a message leaving a voicemail requesting the status of my car, leaving my number behind and receiving no response. Third, I called again, and leave my number with a different individual. Still no answer. I come to pick up my car, am dissatisfied with all of the experience I had, and leave. This morning, I try to call again, and again, get no return phone call, despite leaving my information with a third person on this third occurrence - as they were also away from their desk at the time.
I brought my 2019 civic in for three reasons. Two of which, I was pretty certain of the issues on - one being the actuator on the fuel tank door and the other being a damaged or disconnected antenna for my keyless entry, resulting in a constant light on the dash and the system not working properly. The third issue, my auntomatic lights not working properly, was not inspected at all, according to this diagnostic paperwork. This is very frustrating, considering I mentioned this when booking my appointment and again when checking in the vehicle. I see no mention of it anywhere in this paperwork.
So essentially, I got charged $360 to get a “yeah bud, you called it, we can fix that for more more money” and a partially done diagnosis.
To say I’m angry about the entire experience would be an understatement. I want to be understanding and calm, but the work was not completed, I was not heard and I was not even contacted. My email address is all over this paperwork as well, correctly entered. Zero attempts at any point to contact me.
Please respond to this email, or call me, letting me know what we can do to straighten this out. Thanks.

I Came in 11/11 due to my car refusing to start. I called Honda rapids and they set me up with a time on Wednesday 11/12. I had my car towed to the shop and came in separately to talk to service.
I ended up seeing Mikey and he was surprised to see me. He could tell how stressed out I was. Today I was supposed to be running open enrollment meetings for 2026 benefits. He has seen my gaggle of children. He has seen me working from the service area before. He knew me being vehicle-less was creating more stress for me. Let him know what the issue was and he notice there was a little space that he could use to see if it was a simple or complex fix.
I am the HR manager at my place of business. Employees like Mikey who know their customers, who take the moment to take a deeper look at the person and to not see them as a number is really important, especially when it has an element of customer service. I keep coming back because of the service team! Even when we've run into some issues, they have been forthcoming about what to expect / and the plan to complete the service.
I have worked with serveral service people: Matt/Blong/Chad/Drew and they are all great! Each one has treated me respectfully and has grocked that I am a fast paced busy person. They get me in and going as quickly as they can without making me feel like I am just being pushed through.
You have a really great service team and I enjoy working with them! It was awesome to see the service techs share information with each other and come to the same decision. I think it’s really important to share these things, especially when they are a rare occurrence.
