Yesterday afternoon I went to Toyota to resolve a key fob issue a year ago when I first bought my car. Despite this issue lasting for a year Jim Stockman, an Assistant Service Manager used his knowledge, expertise, and compassion to quickly resolve the situation. He helped ease a lot of my stress and gave me additional pointers when he didn't have to and I truly appreciated his wisdom and overall kindness I am thankful that I had such a positive encounter and appreciate that Jim handled me with kindness. I didn't tell Jim this but one of the reasons It took me so long to resolve the situation myself was because I recently lost my little sister and have been struggling with depression. Jim helped smooth everything over and I appreciate his generosity. I want to give a shout out to Jim Stockman for his overall help and service. It is people like Jim that motivate me to drive out the way to come get my car serviced. Thank you Jim. I am looking forward to seeing you soon!

I was two weeks past my two year maintenance warranty, which no one bothered to tell me until I showed up, so I had to pay for it. Why the scheduler on the phone didn't say anything is beyond me. I also scheduled in part to get the Apple Carplay installed since Toyota sent me an email that said it was now available for the 2018 Camry. I wasnt told there would be a fee until I showed up today (the guy I worked with was nice enough to waive the $85 since I had to pay for my oil change). But come to find out when the maintenance was complete that they couldn't install the apple carplay. I was told it wasn’t available for my Camry, which doesn't make any sense since the email specifically said it was available now. I’ll call Maita tomorrow to see if they can do it. The guy I worked with knocked $15 off my oil change since there was an online promotion. Gee thanks. Pretty frustrating since I had to take my entire Saturday to find all of this out.

When I arrived I informed my serviceman that the plastic parts on the roof of my Tacoma were lose. When my truck was returned the plastic was still lose and the person who gave me my vehicle said it was normal and that I can fix it myself. I was also saddened that my truck was not washed as stated.

Kyle was excellent. He changed my initial experience from horrible to excellent. My car’s oil coolant hose split. I had oil leaking and splattering all over my engine. I was not near Roseville Toyota. I pulled in the closest garage. Luckily they knew what the problem was. They told me I could not drive it, it was too dangerous, I needed to have my car towed to the dealer, the part was under warranty. I called Sullivan Roseville service dept. I asked for the service advisor I usually go to. He was not in. The person said, I can help you. I told him my dilemma and I needed to be towed to their shop. . I have been serviced there for about 10 yrs. He said he would have to check to see if the part which was under warranty was available. He called me back and said it will take 2-4 days to get the part. I said that’s fine. I will have my car towed so they can run a diagnose and it will be there to be fixed. He said I couldn’t do that until the part was in. I told him my car is not at my home this happened when I was driving. He said I am really sorry but we don’t have the place to keep it. I said what do you expect me to do. He said very politely, I would need to have it towed to my home. Then when the part was in have it towed to the dealer. I was stressed enough over this already this didn’t help. I told him I don’t understand your reasoning. If this happened close to your dealership and I was able to
Pull in your garage and the mechanic checked it and diagnosed the same problem would you tell me I had to have my car towed to my home and then have it towed back when the part came in?? He was yes!!! He was very polite during the whole conversation but was absolutely no help. I told I needed to speak to a manager. He transferred me to the service advisor Kyle. I explained my situation to Kyle. He was exceptional. He said yes, have it towed here. We will do a diagnostic to make sure what is the problem. He told me the cost and said it would be waived if it was under warranty. I met Kyle at the service area. He said He would call about 3:00 and let me know the status. He called before 3:00, told me it was a customer support item and it would be covered. He said it would be completed the next day and he would call about 12:00. He did and I picked up my car!! His service and follow through was excellent! I didn’t even tell him about my bad experience before I talked to him. He helped me through a stressful situation and made it a good experience!
