This will be the last time I take my vehicle to Roseville Toyota. I have been completely satisfied In the past when the service quoted was actually provided. However; when I took my vehicle in today for basic 35k tire rotation service I was made aware that I had been driving my vehicle with the same oil from my last oil change at your shop. All the while under the explicit understanding that the oil had been changed during my last visit to your shop just prior to my service warranty expiring. At which time I specifically came in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance; I was specifically insured that that’s what was performed. Then I come to find out today that wasn’t the case; instead, only a tire rotation was done. The very professionals I rely on for the proper maintenance of my vehicle dropped the ball in falsely communicating the service I was expecting. The timeline is not exact but around 24k I brought vehicle in to get expected oil change and scheduled maintenance performed prior to service warrant expiring. A subsequently came in for unrelated tail gate noise. Today I find out that the oil change I was told was done around the 24k mileage was actually never done. The only service performed was a tire rotation at 24k mileage. So I e been driving with the same oil since my prior oil change from the expected 24k oil change.

My appt was at 10 am. The service center was short staffed leading to a 150 minute wait for a basic oil change and tire rotation. Staff was courteous and kept me informed after I asked for updates. However, if the situation was known in the morning, I should have been informed beforehand so that it could have been rescheduled to a better date.
